Professor A Mark Richards is a distinguished cardiologist and academic, with an impressive career spanning several decades. He holds multiple advanced degrees, including a BA, MB ChB, MD, PhD, DSc, FRCP, FRACP, FCSANZ, FESC, and FRSNZ. Currently, he serves as a Professor in Medicine at the University of Otago in Christchurch, New Zealand, where he is also the Founder and Co-Director of the Christchurch Heart Institute. Professor Richards is an esteemed leader in the field, holding the position of Chair of Cardiovascular Studies for the National Heart Foundation of New Zealand.
