Prof Kenichi Tsujita
Dr. Kenichi Tsujita, MD, PhD, is a Japanese cardiologist specializing in myocardial ischemia and coronary imaging. He currently serves as Professor of Medicine and Chairman of the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, Graduate School of Medical Sciences, Kumamoto University in Kumamoto, Japan, also as an Editor-in-Chief of Circulation Journal (an official journal of Japanese Circulation Society).
Prof Tsujita has previously conducted studies of the impact of lipid-lowering therapy on coronary plaque and has contributed to multicenter studies such as PRECISE-IVUS (J Am Coll Cardiol 2015). He is currently leading a high-volume center for cardiac amyloidosis in Asia and has reported novel drug development studies such as the APPOLLO-B/HELIOS-B study in N Engl J Med.
