Profile
Dr Chen is a Senior Consultant Haematologist at Singapore General Hospital & National Cancer Centre Singapore. She received her MBBS and Master of Clinical Investigation from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (NUS). She is a member of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) and a fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists (UK).
She specialises in the care of patients with multiple myeloma and lymphoproliferative disorders and has led several clinical trials as Principal Investigator in SGH. Her research works in these areas have been published in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
She also received the Health Manpower Development Programme (HMDP) award to train at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center where she was involved in developing novel cellular therapeutics for treatment of multiple myeloma as well as myeloma CAR T-cell clinical trials.
Within the SingHealth DUKE-NUS Cell Therapy Center, she is Education Lead and Clinical Deputy Lead of Adult Blood Cancer and she works with a dedicated team of physicians, allied health professionals and scientists in the Haematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant Programme at SGH to clinically translate and deliver CAR T-cells to patients as well as to develop outpatient transplant services.
